Morton's Neuroma

Morton’s Neuroma or neuroma, is caused by compression of the nerves that are present between the bones in the foot.

Symptoms and Causes

Symptoms:

  • Pain in the front of the foot proximal to toes and can radiate to the toes.

  • Tingling & burning in toes

  • Pain increases when wearing narrow shoes.

  • Pain goes away/decreases when shoes are removed

Causes:

  • Tight fitting shoes

  • Narrow shoe toe box

  • High arched feet

  • Flat feet

  • Bunions
