Plantar Warts

Do you have or have had a wart?Has it been there for a long time? Did you give up with treating it?

Wart is a virus called Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). It is very common in children. It can also be contracted by adults. They can be very persistent and painful if left untreated.

Symptoms and Causes

Symptoms:

  • Presents as callous and is commonly mistaken for a corn.

  • Contracting the HPV can occur from walking barefooted in:

  • Shared showers

  • Pools, spas & sauna’s

  • Debridement of callus overlying the wart tissue

  • Salicylic acid

  • Liquid nitrogen

  • Silver Nitrate
