There are numerous treatments for Sports Injuries, since we tailor treatment for each individual patient it may vary from patient to patient.

Treatments for sports injuries will be created according to your presentation and injury. Things to consider?

  • Type of injury? Muscle? Joint? Tendon? Bone?

  • How long it has been painful/present?

Initial Treatment Plan (POLICE : for treating symptoms)

  • P: Protect

  • OL: Optimum loading

  • I: Ice

  • C: Compress 

  • E: Elevate

  • Orthotics

  • Strengthening & stretching

  • Taping

  • Footwear education and advice
